I am looking into collegiate licensing. I am going to pitch the idea of printing collegiate glassware soon. I can see a huge market there. The prices are crazy on that stuff. I think people would buy even more if it were affordable. I saw a pint glass with a power T at walmart for $8. That price is crazy and they only had 1 left.

It is pretty insane when you see how much the mark-up on items are. Speakers have an absurd mark up as well.

I am seeing why. The fees to get a license can exceed $20,000. I am also looking into the angle of producing product for an already licensed company. Those guys will already have connections to distributors for collegiate products. It is going to break my heart if we decided to run with this and I have to make more bammer stuff that UT.

Well, when my sister did embroidery, a bunch of people wanted disney stuff. Like with NCAA you had to pay a huge licensing fee. Well, I found a loophole for her. If she bought the disney parts retail, and charged more on the other product IE burp clothes etc, and "put the disney item on the product for free" then she would get around it. A bit of a hassle, but helped her save some money.

Howdy folks. Got up too early and have been busy. I've got some boneless ribs simmering in a " Mexican sauce" and about to make some cheese dip with total and sausage. We are having a few people over but nothing too big. Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years Eve tonight.:hi:

Just got some bad news . I have a 14yr old 2nd cousin. He was involved in a 4 wheeler wreck( not wearing a hamlet....don't get me started). He has a cracked skull and is bleeding on the brain. Please keep him and his parents in your thoughts and prayers.

Dang John. Hate hearing that. I'm rooting hard for him and his family.

Thanks hman.:hi:
Nuero surgeon said brain is swollen as much as it can. If it swells any more they'll have to remove part of his skull to allow it to swell. He's in ICU and will be monitored closely through the night.

I'm hoping for a good outcome. Have a friend who's teenage daughter, about the same age I think, that got Reye's Syndrome from taking aspirin when she had a cold. Her brain was swelling severely and they had to open her skull because of the swelling and they weren't holding out much hope for recovery. She is fine today with a family of her own. Will ratchet up the prayers my friend.

Third year in a row we haven't made it to midnight. Can't decide if I'm old or just smart

I don't know what time we went to bed last night (well after midnight). But we got up at 5am, step-son and his wife rolled through on their way to take him back to San Antonio. They only stopped cause she finished our Christmas present (a collage of pictures that is AMAZING! Even has some from his graduation from bootcamp!). So we just got to see them for a little while. Miss him already.

I put a roast in the crockpot before I went back to bed. Smells amazing!!
