Those long hikes are tough! We only have 10 more miles to reach our yearly goal of 100 miles. We probably won't get to hike until November though, bummer!

Any suggestions on some good hiking boots?

The food was good, the service was terrible. The idiot waiter kept bringing the wrong drinks, and the food came out at weird times. Like mine came out 15 minutes before hers, and we ordered the same thing. I ordered some Sake, they never brought it, but still tried to charge me for it.

I always hate when I see that but it's usually because I didn't think to call ahead too. Not really mad at the people who acutally called ahead.

Not really, I gave a pair of columbia hiking shoes, love them. Kevin just uses a pair of athletic shoes

It's actually right down the road from the house. It's part of a state park. There is a swimming hole off the trail so the trail has quiet a few people on it up to that point. You have to cross the creek in this picture to get to the swimming hole.
