:hi: Went hiking with the family Sunday afternoon. I will post a picture later. Had a good time with some good weather.

I got a new puppy friday... poodle/shih tzu mix... 8week old boy... adorable and fantastic demeanor.

His name is 'Teester'..

Nice, the weather was great for us too. We were the only ones hiking on the trail, so it was really nice!

While we were out there we found a trail that is a 14 mile loop. Trying to talk the wife into doing it next weekend. Talking about packing lunch and everything and making a day out of it.

Diabetic stuff. They are going to open it up today and see if they can, and if not they are going to take it off then before the infection can spread.

That's what I figured. We wnnt through that with my grandfather(dad's dad). They didn't act quick enough. Took his foot first, then just below the knee, then right up to his hip. Finally got it all. Thoughts and prayers his way.

Those long hikes are tough! We only have 10 more miles to reach our yearly goal of 100 miles. We probably won't get to hike until November though, bummer!
