Windy, your Aunt sounds like she is very hurt and I feel bad for her. She is definately going to be turning toward you for support. Like niss said, perhaps you should tell your aunt that you would like to share this with your sister, that would help you. Its ashame you and your sister couldn't go and visit her together.

Agreed VG. Windy, I really do believe she needs support and clearly loves you and is reaching out. We all say "dont tell anyone" but in situations like this support from a loving family is really the only thing that will get her through it I would think. Maybe you should just show up with your sister with some Olive Garden take out or something so she can have a meal she doesn't have to fix and have some leftovers for a day or two and just talk. Even if you just tell her you love her and do her dishes, just your mere presense I'm sure would do wonders for her hurting heart. If she wants to takl about it, she'll lead that convo. Again, just a thought.

Oh VG I know she is hurt. I don't think she ever thought it would come to this. They had their problems, but I think she thought working through them or counseling would help it, but I don't believe he is open to it, he wants time to himself, has already moved to Greenville and she doesn't think he will return after he has everything figured out. I feel so bad for her because of the hurt she is going through but also because she doesn't know what to do. She has this huge house to herself she doesn't know where to go or what to do. I think she is going to move back to tennessee in the end, which I think is best for her. The one thing I'm concerned about is if she is going to eat.

I'm hoping that my sister can come with me to go see my aunt. It all depends when she gets her car. Her car is being shipped over here now, and if it gets into the port on the weekend, she will come up through charlotte, but if it is the week she won't have the chance, she will have to go straight to DC.

I'm thinking I'm going to call my sister tomorrow and try and talk to her.
