I'm finding out though this is becoming a huge pain with all the work just to get back into school since I'm changing majors from when I originally started, having stuff transfered, and just talking with the correct person. I have now talked to 4 people in order to get to my correct advisor now. :bad:

I'll be fine thanks. I'll be back in school eventually -- probably at UT. I just need some time. I'd rather take some time off now and get the most out of college in 6 months or a year from now than waste my parents money at around 11k+ per year.

my only point is once you start working and making money it's a lot harder to get motivated to go back to college and know you wont be making a cent for a while and you will be older than many of your classmates. edit: not trying to be a downer, but every friend i have had who took a leave of school didn't go back and not a one is particurally successful. all of them promised they would only take 6 months to a year off. sorry for the lecture.
