Also, anyone who wants to tell me Bryant, James, and Wade aren't easily the three best players in the world needs to provide evidence.

K matches his mentor. 3 National titles and Olympic gold.

Bryant made some huge plays late in this game. Clutch.

For anyone who thinks the Spanish national team couldn't make the NBA Playoffs, I guarantee there are at least 2 GMs who would trade their roster for Spain's.

Very fundamentally sound. Hat was Mike the best man for the job as a coach?

Can't argue with the results. Are there other guys I think would have won? Yes. However, that's irrelevant because the guy who was there did win.

Do you feel that even though we do have the best team in every aspect we should play more of an old school pass-shoot game? Are we to liberal on offense? Could we stand to play more fundamental basketball?

I don't think our fundamentals are bad. Never underestimate how different the rules and officiating are in international competition.

By the way, the Nike commercial with Marvin Gaye's performance of the National Anthem from the '82 NBA All Star Game is the greatest commercial of all time.

Seeing how much his gold medal meant to him has elevated Michael Redd tenfold in my eyes.

Without big officiating help, this Spanish team cannot compete, especially in the NBA. Their defense is almost funny. In fact, their only D today was the times officials didn't call a clear mauling.

Remind me of that in 3 years when 5 guys off that team are averaging 17+ points a game in the NBA.

Spain would beat anyone in the bottom third of the NBA last year, except a healthy Miami team, in a seven game series.

I'll remind you when they aren't. There is no way that's happening. Rubio will never average 17, nor will Gasol 2.

They're decent, but not defensive bone in the group. I don't see that team beating anyone routinely in the NBA.

again, disagree. Very linited athletically. Should have had a huge post advantage today, but limited athleticism kept them from taking advantage.

They're skilled, but the NBA rules would penalize them in a big way.
