The super duper Zone wager thread.

That would be a good one! My wife is from Utah and was raised Mormon, she not anymore though. Almost all of them secretly drink coffee and all of them not so secretly drink Diet Coke. It’s basically the official drink of Mormons.

One of my wife relatives was directly involved the Mountain Meadow Massacre.
I loved going through Utah last year, It's beautiful.

It really is. The heat out there is totally different. Felt like a blast furnace and like my skin was drying out the second I went outside. It’s beats air you can wear though
Idaho was the same. That's where we were going to see my oldest daughter, but spent one night in Utah, came back through it also.

I lived in Jackson. WY for a long time. They would come over from SLC and party it up. The joke was God couldn't see over the Tetons.

Where in Utah is she from?

That’s the one part of coffee that I’ll probably never really be able to do. Growing coffee plants or growing coffee plants that’ll produce good coffee requires a very specific climate. I want to try at some point but I doubt it’ll ever produce enough coffee cherries for more than one cup.
So you buy the beans and roast them?

Alpine, Utah it’s a uppity little city about 40 minutes south of SLC.

Is Jackson and Jackson Hole the same place? We went out there for a weekend. The Tetons are stunning and iconic. I can almost always tell them from other mountains just from their shape.

Yes! It was a hobby I got into after getting some beans that were very under-roasted to the point that they were almost still green. I started about this time last year. I’ve always been really into coffee and it was one more way to learn and experiment with it.
I roast in 8-10oz batches with my diy roaster but hopefully within the next year or so I’ll get something that can do lb or more.

I think if the chemistry can improve (if it is actually bad), this will be a much improved team assuming we get to go to practice in the spring and then full fall workouts.

Yeah, Jackson is the town. Jackson Hole is a reference for the whole valley.

I spent a good amount of time in Utah. Southern Utah is amazing.

I highly recommend Goblin Valley while on shrooms.
