I was planning on roasting some to give out over the holidays and then caught covid. I figured it’s probably best not to send out covid coffee lol

I’m off quarantine tomorrow though, so I’m gonna try to roast some this weekend.

Lol I’ve actually been thinking about seeing if anyone one here wants to buy any. It would be small batches given my limited roasting size. I want to get feed back from what other people think. I enjoy my coffee but I’m probably biased. Plus it’ll give me a feel for roasting on a slightly larger scale and more rigid timeline.

I’m thinking about the name Cult Coffee. When I started home roasting and doing coffee cuppings my sister asked me if I had joined a cult so that’s where the idea came from. Could use it for catchy/gimmicky slogans like “join our cult” or “coffee so good you’ll want to join our cult”

For coffee roast names, I’m thinking maybe Jim Jones Java, Ted Burundi but that’s not really settled yet lol

That’s the one part of coffee that I’ll probably never really be able to do. Growing coffee plants or growing coffee plants that’ll produce good coffee requires a very specific climate. I want to try at some point but I doubt it’ll ever produce enough coffee cherries for more than one cup.

That would be a good one! My wife is from Utah and was raised Mormon, she not anymore though. Almost all of them secretly drink coffee and all of them not so secretly drink Diet Coke. It’s basically the official drink of Mormons.

One of my wife relatives was directly involved the Mountain Meadow Massacre.
