I dont think Heupel wins a champ here but I also dont think the sky is falling. And no team is, but tenn plays every team every other year anyway. So theyll still get some of those teams. Dont forget, lsu and Florida just fired their coaches too. This loss doesnt signal trash from here on out, it also doesnt signal vandy is going to be almost in the playoffs every year. It took a Heisman level player winning an unusual ruling to beat them when tenn had a bad year. So not the norm to start freaking out long term over. That was the only point, yet everyone is jumping on my posts saying I'm coping, despite not disagreeing with what I said. Just that tenn sucks (I acknowledged).

It happens. Sh in front of that first word. Heupel with his offensive play calling in the 2nd half let his defense down. This one is clearly on him and not Banks. Worse loss if the season. If I was Banks, I might seek offers for a lateral move after the manner in which Heupel left the defense out to dry tonight

You wont find a disagreement with me with anything you've said. That doesnt mean Dooley/Pruitt years are here or that Vandy is the new long term bully. Maybe it will be, I'm just not that pessimistic yet.

Nothing about 1996 applies today. They just won more games than they ever had before. No reason they have to stop there. The hope that they vanish back into obscurity is just that, a hope. They can buy a roster just like anyone else can. Today was good advertisement... 🤦‍♂️

I hope you are correct. Heupel definitely needs to run a tighter ship and start holding the players and coaching staff accountable for their performances.

When I heard a stat earlier this week that UT was the youngest team in the SEC and Vandy was the oldest that definitely caught my attention.

Why not?? It’s seasons like this for Vandy that puts other players on notice that they can attend Vandy and be successful. It’s a dangerous thing when teams that aren’t very successful year after year get publicity like Vandy has this year and with the portal, QBs like Pavia at smaller or like minded programs now smell the opportunity to jump to a program like Vandy.

I see 5 and possibly 6 losses next year. LSU will have Kiffin as a coach.

I don't think Huepel gives a ****. Like a lot of these freaking overpaid pe coaches. They get their failure money and move on. It is just sad.
