Well, at least he's willing to compromise. Something the Republicans wouldn't hear of the previous 8 years.
That being said, building a wall is the worst thing our country can do
Dems, this is your party... nothing else needs to be said....

Yep, us God-fearing, gun-toting, freedom-loving 'publicans are dumbing down the country.....
If you want to debate knowledge and academic intelligence, bring it. Existential doctors, attorneys and engineers, who align diametrically opposed to you, are in this very thread.
Didn't think so.....
Hey dumb ass I was responding to a poster who said that affluent and wealthy kids don't die serving their country. My example wasn't an opinion, it was a fact.
Yeah, I know what you were responding to yahoo. My point is that you used an exception as though it is a norm. Less than 5% of the military would be considered affluent. Check that, it's less than 1%.
They would both win. The Kennedy mind of 1960 would be a great mind in 2020. CHANGE OVER TIME. It's inevitable (even for the most hard core rightwingers)
Democrats are in the driver's seat... Trump's arrogance once again blinds him to this fact. As he said himself in 2013:
"Well, if you say who gets fired it always has to be the top," Trump said. "I mean, problems start from the top and they have to get solved from the top and the president's the leader. And he's got to get everybody in a room and he's got to lead."
He said that further down in history, "when they talk about the government shutdown, they're going to be talking about the president of the United States, who the president was at that time."
Let it ride!
He wasn't talking about those who serve, he was talking specifically about the ones who die on the battlefield. There is a difference in case you didn't know. But please, keep defending his absurd comment.
They would? If that's the case, why couldn't Jim Webb make it to the Iowa caucuses? He's a pre-great society democrat like Truman and Kennedy. Poor guy never had a chance despite the fact that he was by far the best general election candidate for the Democrats.

I'll freely admit I am disgusted at the direction of the Democratic party. You're absolutely right about Webb. Of course the same thing can be said of Republicans too. Trump ran on some far right promises that impressed the wingnuts but made the moderates cringe. What YOU need to understand is that this country, as a matter of history, has been more successful when polices and legislation are balanced.....center right to center left. Moderation works the best and has been proven so over and over again
