The Runner's thread

I have about 15 days or so before I start training for my second half marathon. The wife decided after having this last baby she wanted to run one so I told her I would run with her. It's the Battlefield Half Marathon at the Chickamuga Battlefield. I am excited to run another one. My goal this time is to improve upon my time in my other one. 1:47mins was my time. I just want to beat that and I will be happy.

When is the race?
 
3 miles last night. 22:41. Started off rough but splits went 7:48, 7:38, and 7:13. Weekly total 14. Shooting for five on Saturday morning. Going to be in Knoxville Saturday morning.
 
Went to Fleet Feet yesterday while I was in Knoxville and got some Brooks adrenaline. I tried on the Pure Cadence but I didn't really like how they felt.
 
5 in 45 today. Cooler weather cannot get here soon enough. The FL heat+humidity decimates my pace, not to mention distance.
