The Runner's thread

anything under two hours is a pretty stinking good time in my book...

anything over two hours is still a great effort in my book...

Tomorrow (Monday) is a normal run day for me (about 3.5mi). But I have to fast all day for Tuesday's colonoscopy. So I can't run Tuesday either. Should I just skip running and have some unplanned "recovery days" or can I do my run first thing in the AM knowing that all I'll be able to do is drink liquids the rest of the day?

4.5 today in 39:20. I head to Mexico tomorrow until Sunday. I'll be getting a few runs in on the beach for sure. Have a good week everybody!

If you are doing the 100 mile March then you should be at 80.64 as of right now. If you aren't you are getting a little behind time to catch up.

Got 3 in this morning before we'll be leaving, morning runs definitely wake me up.

Weekly Total: 7.5 Miles

I'm at 88.41 Miles for March right now. As long as I run 3 miles every day the next 4 days I'll get to 100.

unless some sort of miracle happens, I'm going to fall short. Who would have ever thought that being in the Army would have you so busy you don't have time to run? It's been well past 1900 every night this week. Monday and Tuesday I had to do our morning reports and last night we had a night range and I didn't get home until 01:30 in the morning. Slept til 7:30 and was back in at 0830. Just got off work tonight. Gonna get a run in tomorrow morning, but 24 miles in 4 days seems unlikely :(. Not giving up all hope though.

5 miles in 42 minutes in sub 30 degree weather this morning. Can't believe it's still this cold and it's almost April. Not giving up on 100 mile March. Gonna try to get 2-3 more miles in tonight.
