The Runner's thread

Did 3 miles today but had to stop for a minute and walk twice. Tried not to get frustrated just had a bad day I guess

I incorporate walking into a lot of my runs especially on steep hill. Many times you can walk it almost as fast as you can run it.

Also walking can help keep you strong for the end of the run. It's a trick employed by many marathoners & ultramarathoners but works just as well for any distance especially if you are new at running.

5k last night and included 6 stadiums in my 5k to try and help with the hills during my runs. I also ran four sprints after my 5k. It wasn't easy but it was worth it. I could tell a difference

Question to you runners about ear buds. I use iPhone and use the normal white buds but they seem to fall out a lot while I run. Does anyone have any that they use that seem to fit snugly without sliding around in the ears and falling out?

I use some that have the over the ear hook. Not pretty but they don't fall out.
