The Runner's thread

3.84 miles in 34:45. the encourageing thing is I felt like I was running on empty but still put up a good time(for me this year anyways) on my longest run of the year. Swam 800 meters this morning beofre work. Last hard day. Gonna take it easy for the rest of the week. Maybe a bike ride tomorrow and a short easy run Wed.

I've never ran a half marathon. I've done quite a few 12 mile road marches in under 3 hours. To do that you have to run a bit(at least most people).

The furthest I've ran is 10 miles. I'm pretty confident I can do the half marathon with no major issues

If you have gone 10 miles you will be fine. When are you going to start your taper?

I wouldn't either but I have long legs. I should be able to take two-three steps at a time.

3 miles in the heat. First post marathon run. Legs still heavy from squats and biking. Felt good.

I don't think you live too far away from me, the humidity in West TN is ridiculous to run in. I starting sweating while I stretch.

I'm a pretty goo poke from you. I live in NWA in the Ozark mountains. My weather is probably a fair bit milder than yours.
