4 miles yesterday afternoon. 7:47 pace. Started to cramp up a little bit the last quarter mile or so. Just tells me I am going to have to drink more water.
Two slow miles today. I could blame the heat and walking around Pinehurst all day yesterday watching practice rounds for the US Open yesterday, but bottom line, I gotta start doing speed work again and really put forth effort in my short runs.
Read once that sitting in a chair with a towel stretched out on the floor then pulling the towel toward you by curling your toes will help relieve and prevent shin splints.

My company usually plays what we call Ultimate Football on Fridays for PT. Today is the last day my Company will all be together as they are doing a reorganization throughout our battalion and my company is being disbanded. We played one last time and for giggles I used my Nike watch just to see how much I ran during it. 3.72 miles.
