The Runner's thread

Going to run a 5K on April 30th. I think I will perform much better on this type of race than I did the Half-Marathon. Anyone know any specific training for a 5K?

when I ran 5K regularly I would run 9 miles twice a week. Monday and Friday

Tuesday and Thursday run 3.2 miles

Wednesday run 2 miles
(this is a training method for a more advanced runner)

if you have not run a lot then just work your way up. Start off with 1 mile rest a day then go for 2 miles rest a day and so on up until 5 miles. Try to not walk the whole time if possible
