4.0 tonight with 7:21 pace. I struggled today. My legs are really sore for some reason. Thinking about taking next week off and resting my legs.
 
did a light jog yesterday and the pain was still there. The whole outside of my left upper leg just feels completely dead. Always. It's no different if I walk on it, but if I put too much pressure on it by either lengthening my stride or going down stairs, it's nothing but pain.

All perspective. I would consider a 7:21 pace something to brag about but you consider it struggling. :lol:

At least I'm currently under an 8:00 pace for 3 miles, but not by much.

I guess I should have worded that a little different. I struggled to keep the pace. I tried to slow down during the run because I knew that I was going to be running longer than I have been the past two weeks or so, but I just couldn't seem to slow myself down.
 
Getting the new shoes that have a Nike chip in them so I can get the Nike basketball app and it will keep my mileage that I run in a basketball game
 
After looking into it, this app tracks several things

miles ran
highest vertical during the game
it also measures quickness on a scale of some sort
it keeps track of how often you walk in games

Interesting. Once I can start playing regularly agian I may look into it

4 miles on the treadmill today. My quads are still sore from Sunday. Whatever, I pushed through it.

Weekly Total: 9.5 Miles
 
Feeling quite a bit better today (Tiger Balm is the shiz btw) so I ran 4 miles this morning and sprints this afternoon mixed with pushups and situps.
 
2.5 on the treadmill today. I'm ready for spring. I'm tired of the TM but hate being cold.

Weekly Total: 12 Miles
 
Wasted a beautiful day dealing with a stupid customer. running at the gym tonight. hope the scenery is nice.
 
Haven't run in over a week and I have to go to Nashville for 10 days for work, so I am missing my 1/2 marathon on 3/10.

So bummed and disappointed right now. Gotta start back running this weekend or next week.
