The Runner's thread

I did a little over 7 miles according to my nike +. I wish it would quit randomly pausing and still adding time. It kills my actual time...

Hill repeats in a cloud. 4-5 miles. Always cool to be on an isolated trail surrounded by rhodendron bushes running in a misty rain cloud/fog. Almost makes the pain of repeats seem worthwhile.

I am getting so frustrated with my Nike +. It keeps pausing in the middle of my run and won't track the mileage, but keeps adding time on. So I ran 2 more miles that weren't tracked.

4 in 37:44 on the TM, incline set at 1. Trying to let my legs take a rest from the hills before Sunday. Plus it looked pretty gross outside, wasn't really appealing today.

Weekly Total: 10.7 Miles

Strava would do the same thing. Finally got so mad I quit using it.

I strongly recommend the Nike+ GPS Sportwatch. It's incredibly accurate and so easy to operate. I had one hiccup for a while on getting it to sync, but that rarely happens anymore.

3.5 with a 7:05 pace. I felt great today for some reason. It started out fast and I fully expected to slow down but my pace just never fell off. This is the fastest I have ever ran this distance.

Weekly total 7.

Jealous of the terrain. Ran stadium stairs yesterday as I live in the land of flatness. Our local stadium seats ~20,000 so it's not too bad. Bragged about the awesomeness of Neyland to my running buddy. Actually brought back some sweet memories of the summer '94 I would run into Neyland on my morning runs and get a daily view of the transition from artificial turf to natural. Those were the days.

4 miles at 9:27/mile. I am slowing inching my way toward the 9 minute mile again. I can't believe how slow I had gotten after not running for a long time

So this weekend I am traveling for work. I don't know if the place I am staying has a gym. If they do I will get a lot of miles in. If they don't I will get none

I usually look online to see if a park or greenway, etc is near. Its a fun way to get a run in and see some of the local area.
