Easily one of Metallica's best songs, and it is Kirk's best guitar solo (as most of his solo's are crap).

Kirk is great technique wise and fast as balls, but the dude has little feeling in his solos. You can be fast and have feeling (ex EVH, joe bonamassa, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson etc.) but Kirk just shreds. Which is cool and I like him as a guitar player, but he ain't one of the best

Most of his solos do suck, and if you think he's a great guitarist then you have little to no musical talent. Guys like Marty Friedman absolute smoke Kirk in terms of technique and musical ability.

I agree he definitely doesn't suck. He's just in a great band and that's why he gets a lot of hype. I think in the guitar world that's why a lot of people hate him. Dudes good at shredding and that takes talent, but playing musical and shredding are two different things and I think most people will agree we like both.

I was a guitarist in the Jazz program at UT. I have no doubts that I could easily school you in anything music related. Suck on that info.

Never seen that one before. That's almost as original as Kirk's ability to play the Pentatonic scale. Keep up the good work!

This was a great rock band, The Hellacopters

Nick Andersson fronted them and is super talented. He also played drums and guitar and did some vocals for Entombed on their earlier releases.
