Their constituents said loudly and clearly that the republican party was now the Trump party.
You're talking 2-4 years ago. My how things have changed. Which republican cast the deciding vote on healthcare?
How is he viewed by today's "republicans"?
The republicans who stood up to the Trump nonsense left office precisely because the republican party was becoming the party of Trump. Luckily, the democratic majority brought in by the mid-terms put Trump in check because republicans willing to stand against Trump were quickly disappearing.
If the republicans would have stayed true to themselves and their beliefs, he would have been out within 18 months.
I should have known better.
You mean Tim Scott the 1st AA ever elected to both congress and senate or Hershel Walker the Olympian?
I thought you were saying you didn’t see that many Reps despise Trump. Now I think you do see it. You just claim that the Reps fall in line so as not to incur the wrath of Trump. What?
He ran or attempted to run Jeff Flake, Bob Corker, Paul Ryan, Larry Hogan, and dozens of other moderate republicans out of the party. The remainder lick his boots and act like he’s the greatest American to ever live. Why? Because their political survival demands it. He uncorks on anybody who disagrees with him, from republicans, to his own staffers, to the news media, to foreign leaders.
It’s as disingenuous to say that Democrats are the party punishing intellectual dissent as it is to say Democrats went hard left on the heels of a primary in which the most moderate candidate won in a landslide. It’s a pair of dumb narratives, built up, ironically, to attempt to “destroy” people who don’t think exactly like Trumpists.
20.000 lies is one of the biggest and overused lies by the MSM and Dems. It’s right up there with the lies about what Trump said about folks in Charlottesville.SIAP
Melania Trump says US deserves ‘total honesty’ from president despite husband’s 20,000 untruths in office
So basically Melania is saying NOT to vote for Donald.
Be Best Baby!
Trump's slogan is Make America Great Again and the brainwashed red hats will actually spell out all the reasons why American has gotten worse since he's gotten elected and then say it's not his fault. It's truly amazing when you think about it.
Flake said it all when he voted for something and flat out said he would have voted the other way had he been running for re-election. Jeffrey “Flaky” Flake. He could be the next DJ Jazzy Jeff if Will Smith needs a new DJ. DJ Flaky Flake. All had made multiple promises to repeal ACA, all supported endless foreign military excursions, all had a chance to work on a balanced budget and yet they accomplished nothing. They complained incessantly about Obama and his policies yet did nothing about them when they had the opportunity. Is that what you think a good Republican is? They bitched and moaned about ACA for 7 years, held numerous and meaningless repeal votes and then when they had the opportunity to make good on the one thing they campaigned the hardest on for 7 years they failed because they had no plan. That is the epitome of just pandering to a base for reelection.
Now I can see a person like you believing they are effective legislators since all they do is spew bull and get nothing done. But the reason they are out is they were exposed.
Are you infatuated with Ivanka?True, but obviously irrelevant.
There are dozens, if not hundreds, of examples of politicians with voting records identical to Flake who are still in government. Why? They kissed the ring. There are examples of locally popular, competent republicans like Larry Hogan that are nationally despised. Why? Didn’t kiss the ring. There are thoughtful pundits like David French, George Will, and Jonah Goldberg, etc. who are despised by the Trumpists. Why? Didn’t kiss the ring. There are moron pundits like Sohrab Amari and Dinesh D’Souza who are revered by Trumpists for no other reason than publicly kissing more than the ring.
There are examples of woefully incompetent republicans like Matt Gaetz whose popularity is indirectly proportionate to competence. Why? They kissed more than the ring.
National popularity amongst republicans is directly tied to a public figure’s willingness to fluff Trump.
Another Ivanka post.
The R party has a lot to do with why things are better for the AA community. It’s almost funny that the R line is “there is no systemic racism in America” and then literally hold up the one black exception to the white rule as proof... when it’s literally proof that systemic racism exists. Can’t make this stuff up.
I have a few questions for you. How many people that aren’t Dems think he is a racist? Also, how many people that actually know Trump think he is a racist? Do you think Herschel is the only POC that believe Trump isn’t racist? How can people who have literally never even met the man, some I bet haven’t even directly heard Trump speak, call him a racist? People trust the MSM way too much and the depth of their deceptive practices and depravity has been on full display over the last 4 years. I knew it was bad but I’ve been surprised at how they don’t seem to care about the optics when they lie, make up stories, and act despicably towards an office that should command a level of respect even if the person holding it does not.I was at that game. (first time I ever payed more than face value for a ticket)
Hershel thinks Trump is not a racist.
Many think Trump is a racist.
Who are you going to believe?
The truth is that Trump scores poorly on the racist continuum.
