I was completely against the black jersey's. I did like Kiffin's comments after the game it was for the players. Being Halloween, which is a fun "holiday", (and football being a game) it became a fun event. The more I watched in person and saw highlights on tv, the white helmets, black shirts, orange pants really did look good (once I got over the initial shock).
The thing that worries me most about the black jersey is that we would forget who we are. This color of orange is unique and hated by everyone else and that is special. Just the black jersey's was great and I wouldn't mind seeing it on another Halloween type thing. I just don't want to get into we need to wear black for "big" games. If we where them too much, it doesn't make them special anymore. We have done pretty well in orange shirts (for the superstitious types). We should not wear them against Bama and Vandy. It's best to wear as many shades of orange as possible when playing Vandy as it really makes their fans uncomfortable.
I don't think we should get into the all black uniforms, as it would take away from the orange. Black is a great color for making the orange stand out. I know the fashion people will keep working to make them look better and I look forward to seeing what they do. I also hope that they keep it a secret when they wear them because I don't think you are going to get Neyland Stadium to wear all black.
