The way that a minority has (allegedly) hijacked the gay movement, all it will take are a few loudmouths and an enabling "progressive" media to make it happen. Or is that where we draw a line? (I would be happy to know that there is a limit to this lunacy, at least that way there would be hope for a normal society once again once the 'adults' are no longer in charge)

The National Desk (TND) reached out to numerous Minnesota state legislators for clarification on the matter, and to inquire why such a category should be protected under Minnesota's anti-gay discrimination laws.

The bill updates outdated language that incorrectly ties pedophilia to a person's sexual orientation. Nothing in the bill changes or weakens any of the crimes against children, or the state's ability to prosecute those who break the law," Minnesota House Judiciary Committee Chair Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn (DFL-Roseville) told TND in a statement. "Of course pedophilia is not a sexual orientation - which is why the language never should have been included in the statutory definition in the first place."

I only weighed in that there is zero, nada, nil chance of pedophilia becoming legal and acceptable in America. I believe that. These other issues will all but disappear after the politicians squeeze the last bit of juice out of them.

It's kind of like the like the last two election cycles the right was all about the liberals are leading us into socialism. Socialist this socialist that. Well that didn't move the needle so they don't harp on it that much anymore. Actually Americans believe a little socialism is ok. Now they have hitched their wagon to the ideology of wokness and how is destroying the country. Example: The military is falling apart because of all the woke pansies. If it doesn't garner votes all the issues surrounding wokness will evaporate from the political landscape. Wokness may work. I don't know. I do know that most every family in America has a member who isn't like everybody else and most don't have any problems accepting it. I can almost assure you that people are more concerned about social security and medicare than they are about the he, she, it, them, or they person who lives across the street.

It's part of HF 447 which makes explicit that pedophilia isn't a protected class so yes, it's fake, as usual

Also is she not referring to HF1655, and if so and the other bill already has language in it to that effect, then it shouldn't matter that's it reenforced again in HF1655.

1. "Reinforcing language" like that can be confusing and raise questions of interpretation (for example, what if the same legislators wrote another multi-part bill without reinforcing language? Does that mean they intentionally left it out and didn't intend to reinforce that thing?)
2. Even if people wanted to "use this to include pedophilia as a sexual orientation in the future," the legislative history and context around this bill ("Of course pedophilia is not a sexual orientation" as one of the reasons for making the change, for example) still exists and people in the future would still have to deal with that.

No one is coming for your kids IMO
