My dear fellows, lo these past few years, while the vols have vagabonded through the CFB landscape, careening from one disastrous misstep to another in Falstaff-ian fashion, the loyal few have endured. Harken, for I have glad tidings for you, a balm to soothe your hurts. The solution to your woes presents itself....for to thrive in the future, the past, perforce, becomes the present:

Supplant CJP with CPF (coach Phillip Fulmer)

Who better to strike fear into the hearts of the hated tide and braggadocios bulldogs, than the first son of Tennessee football??!! Who better to vanquish the foes of the vol navy than the programs ballyhooed admiral??!! He has emerged from the mists of time, shrouded in the glories of yesteryear, ready to renew the springs of Tennessean success and avenge us upon our rivals. My friends, we need only reach out and take the succor at hand, and all will be well.

Let us rise together, and with full hearts and voices, return CPF to his rightful role!!

LOL. OP, check out the UT vs. Bama scores from 07 & 08. Saban took Fulmer to the woodshed.

For this to be your first post, it looks like you‘re throwing a Hail Mary on the first play from scrimmage. Dial it down a bit.

My dear fellow, if I am not mistaken, those losses came when CPF had to fight not only the vile bama forces from without, but also had to wage an internal struggle with that most ignominious of villains, Mike Hamilton. Perhaps you care to comment on the multiple SEC East crowns & SEC championships, and the national title that CPF bestowed upon us?

I daresay that Saban would quiver in fear at the site of CPF on the opposite sideline, those steely eyes piercing both his soul and his gameplan, from beneath that iconic baseball cap--then indeed that miscreant would know he had met his match!!
