I've got a church league game again tonight. I'm going to try and not get T'd up this time.

Gnome, the stalker bit isn't funny anymore.

Gonz, I think I probably need to rest today... I'll let you know this afternoon, but I do not want to develop shin splints.

How bad are most of the teams?

There's a Tuesday and Thursday league. Tuesday league is legit. Jon Higgins, Jordan Howell are a few guys that play in that league.

Thursday is still pretty good. I play in that.

I want this sooooo bad:

Nike Unveils Nike+ Basketball and Training Technology | Hypebeast

I don't normally get into junk like these fuel points, but if I could afford those shoes, I'd have running and basketball accounted for.

1) They need a common "umbrella" app that will keep your running and basketball and whatever else together

2) Those shoes need to come down about $150 in price, and they need to stop being ugly as sin.

3) I still want them sooo bad.

It tracks your vertical by using your hangtime, which would be really accurate, as long as you don't come down with your knees bent too far. I imagine they have biomechanical engineers that have looked at the average landing posture, and it's probably pretty constant. Plus it keeps track of a bunch of other stuff, too.

But so damn expensive!

Plus, Lebron says it's cool, and I believe him.

Can I play in my Nike+ running shoes and use this app? I don't know if it uses the same sensor.

Probably wouldn't want to do that anyway. It would defeat the point of going out and buying basketball shoes.

The better question is, can I take the insole out of my non-Nike+ basketball shoes and carve a spot for the sensor in?
