I watched the whole thing. I was just saying that if we drive straight down the field and stall...that is 7 points lost. I was agreeing with you that we left a lot of points on the field.

I am so proud of these young men! There are always mistakes in life that you learn by. These young me have just gained alot of life lessons tonight. These young men have also learned just how good they could be. A loss is never good, but at the same time when you do have a loss, you have to come back stronger. why all the hate on Sal, did anyone think that switching from a 4-3 to a 3-4 was going to be seamless. I think everyone has a season or two of adjustment before they really get it.

I was under the impression that everyone knew that the D was not going to be up to par this year and that to win we were going to have to out score the other team.

If you read these forums, u have to know that most of the people here, have never played the game, and actually don't know anything about football...

but they fought to the bitter and came within a touchdown of Number 5 Georgia on the road. Hurts like hell to lose like that but keep wearing the orange with pride

If you live in Knox, when these young men get off the bus...be out there cheering for them. Be out there clapping and slapping them on the shoulder. We have to let this team know that we understand what they are going through and that we are with them.

This negative bull SH*T has gone on long enough.

Negativity isnt going to make us win any more football games.... but maybe, just maybe, coming together and fighting for our young men on the field might just do what we all want!

D will improve all season, and our O could play much better than we did today.

What we did was show we can run the ball on top SEC D's. If we duplicate that running effort and take care of the ball we win...not to mention improve on D.

We beat Miss St by 2 td's and upset one of Bama or SC.

I'm proud of the fight our guys had tonight. If we can find a way to avoid giving up the embarrassing big plays on defense, we'll be over the hump. This was the best our offensive line has played since the Fulmer era.

Still a ways to go, but significant improvement tonight. Last years team would have looked at 27-10 and turned it into 44-13. I'm proud of them and I hope to see more improvement, maybe a win over USCjr and a competitive Third Saturday.

Maybe not, but there are defenses in this country that have much less talent than we have, yet have either the coaching, or the desire, and will outperform us every Saturday this year.

Notice there isn't an example included here. Thin roster still learning a new scheme, which came up with a few big stops, and got exposed where they were either thin on depth/talent knowledge but gave their all for four quarters, against the best offense they have faced so far and may face this year. This isn't Madden with "easy" turned on.
