You play with what your dealt, it's not like we are three deep yet.

Maybe not, but there are defenses in this country that have much less talent than we have, yet have either the coaching, or the desire, and will outperform us every Saturday this year.

heck of a game. another heartbreaker but we're used to it. we showed heart tonight and that's what was missing in the florida game. our big W is coming. SC better watch out.

Thrilled about losing? never

People said Dooley had to go 2-2 in this stretch and keep the losses close to install any sort of hope. We had a chance against a clearly better team. So maybe "thrilled" isn't the right word, but this is better than a lot of people were expecting.

So I'm guessing that it was Sal who threw to the wrong shoulder for an INT on the potential tying drive, or who fumbled at a crucial time.

And Chaney abandoned the run on the last drive...THEY COULDN'T STOP IT!!!! And they had 6 minutes to do it...

The defense couldn't get rest because of our high-tempo offense. As soon as we actually settled down and had a long drive, we did nothing but stop them.

I don't like giving up 51, but we KNEW we had a bad defense, so we should have ADJUSTED. Score more on offense and get a few turnovers. We had DONE that. Not all the defense's fault.

D gave up 51 points and they were getting gashed every time Ga touched the ball.Bray isnt throwing picks with 44 points on the board and a lead. The play calling changes. They were playing behind all day.You can call it ever how you see it but the D lost this game.

Such a tough loss. Team needed that one. D has to figure some things out this bye week or we're not going to win any of these next 3.

Lets use these next 2 weeks to our full advantage. Rest up, regroup, and start a new season in Starkville on October 13th!

Damn, it was a game down to the wire and we we lost. We Played 4 quarters and had the # 5 team in the country on a verge of a loss! What more do the negavols want?

I'm proud of our team! They fought til the end.

My GOD everyone is satisfied with the effort but do you seriously think giving up 51 points is a recipe for success? What do you Negavols want? man o man

sounds good to me,sal needs to do something,i've noticed there is a lot of 4 3 plays and 3 4 plays on
D,seems like he needs to stick with one or the other

That was a fun game to watch. Both teams had flaws. No excuses just a good game. I hope this creates confidence to play hard and get a win in 2 weeks. GBO

So the fact that we ran the ball down their throats for an entire drive which took, coincidently, 6 minutes, means that when we get the ball right back with 6 minutes left we should do the same thing, and we'll win, right? 4 down territory, we need to average 2.5 yards a carry. Not rocket science...so we throw. Yes, I understand that you throw when you're down, but what had we just proven we can do on the previous drive? Don't abandon something when it works.

I do agree with that I'm proud of the team. Not happy we lost. I'm just saying before any game (or after) I would never be happy with a 7 point loss.

The defense gave up too many points but I also think the offense is getting too much credit. Tyler Bray alone had 4 turnovers and this was the starting field position for each scoring drive. In order...

Pick 6.

Tenn 26 - Field goal.

Midfield - Touchdown.

UGA 8 - Touchdown.

UGA 18 - Touchdown.

Tenn 22 - Touchdown.

Tenn 40 - Touchdown.

That's 10 points from the offense without starting at about midfield. The Patterson drop was bad and should have been 7 more. It's not like the offense was amazing the when you look at how they scored and having 4 turnovers.

I'm not trying to pour on these kids, I think they did their best and am proud of them for almost knocking off the #5 team. I'm just pointing out facts and the fact is, the offense wasn't as impressive as some people are making them out to be because they put 44 points on the board. Considering one touchdown was on an interception and two more touchdowns only required 18 and 8 yards... that's basically half the points scored on 26 yards.
