The official UT v. LSU game thread

I will not complain about the officiating today because god knows I did it enough last night!

I was just surprised that we let lsu dictate the flow of the game. When we picked up the tempo we looked much better and seemed to find a rhythm. I was disappointed in JuJuan's shot selection but he's streaky so I can see why CBP allows him to shoot it out. I also felt we could have had a better possession at the end of regulation. 7 sec is enough to get a decent look at the basket.

Oh well, time to pick it up and look toward the future. They will be calling UT's name on Sunday and we have at least 1 more game. I wouldn't want to draw this group of pissed off Vols in the 1st round, I pity their opponent!

I agree, if we weren't going to win the SEC Tournament, I am just as happy to go home after the first game. Get rested, learn from our mistakes and get focused on a real tournament.

Hey guys, I was'nt here last night, but I was wondering if the Brando mancrush on LSU pissed everyone else off ? Good news is that we get some rest before the real deal.

Brando is a douche. He sure was mad when his boys were slapped with a charging foul after CL made the put back to tie up the game.

That's the exact moment when I could'nt take it anymore. THAT was a serious charge...and definately not a "donnybrook" to set him off on that tear. There were many questionable calls last night, but that sure was'nt one of them.

It made me mad when they were saying that LSU won the game despite controversial calls, making it seem that they were also playing against the refs.

is it jut me, or were they calling fouls on us more readily than they were on lsu? it seems like lsu was getting physical and everytime we'd get physical we'd get called. they beat us fair and square in overtime though
