The Dr told us she needed an MRI, but the baby was at the stage that the radiation could cause permanent damage, or we may lose her

My wife started bawling, and it ripped my heart out. It's weird, and some may laugh, but the Bible story of the 3 Hebrew children popped into my head in an instant. I got so peaceful about it, and told the Dr to do what he needed to help my wife. That I believe God could watch over our child like he did them.

I'm sure he thought I was crazy, but oh well, she didn't have a clot, and my little girl came out fine. Other than her momma's attitude 😆

Jump to the day she was born, and they had to do a c section because of her heart rate. She went to recovery, and they told me to go to the nursery

The nurses finished cleaning my girl and reached her to me, and it was hard to not get her, but I said no. I explained that my wife had so much trouble carrying her, and I wanted her to be the first to hold her.

I think they sincerely understand something is wrong. She texted me just now and said even after 2 doses of antibiotics, her white blood cell count has doubled. They did get her fever back to 99, but are keeping her with ice bags on her.
