I guess you are right. I just don't EVER remember any incidents where this was a problem. I think the danger of slips and falls from people exiting and entering and exiting and entering the stadium is statistically much higher than the extremely remote chance of a lightning strike.

I guess the hitch is that if one person slips and falls they're probably not going to take down more than one or two other people. A close strike could electrocute hundreds, maybe thousands of people.
