The Official Tennessee vs. #13 Ole Miss Game Thread, 7:30 PM ET, SEC Network

1) We aspire to. That aspiration just took a HUGE hit tonite.
2) Apparently, it shouldn't be for the trashy criminals throwing objects at people on the field tonite.
3) Tennessee needs to build a classy program. A game like this is a hindrance to buidling any kind of successful program.

Tennessee fans are unmatched and should apologize for nothing. The ones who threw objects should be punished.

Yes it would have. They would have timed up the wide angle and endzone angle replays like they do for all reviews (with multiple angles)….. it was clear when it his knee was down in one angle and clear where the ball was when knee was down in another angle. They time these angles up together in the review booth. When you time them up and combine the knee down with ball placement, he was short. This isn’t a conspiracy
Not a conspiracy but none of the angles that were shown were conclusive. And half of his body was over the line. So I disagree with your assertion.

What a shame! Some fans ruined the entire night! All the announcers could do was brag about the atmosphere and the fans...then the fans went and got redneck. We will never have nice things again. Quite frankly, I'm starting to wonder if we even deserve them.
They were full of that high priced beer. Lol

Disappointed we couldn’t pull off the upset,
But before the season I wouldn’t of believed we could of played them to within 20 points with a 100% healthy roster.

Evans out , Mays bros out, Hooker out at the end and just 1 pretty difficult catch away from winning.

Oh I agree that is not OK for the actions of our fans. It is totally embarrassing to the University, the Athletic Department, the coaches, and the football players. fAny fan who is identified as participating in the throwing of any material on the field or at players and coaches should be banned from attending any University of future Tennessee athletic event, and if they were students, they should be expelled from the University.

I would make an exception for cool flying paper airplanes.

After the last 15 years the UTAD is in no position to lecture anyone on embarrassment.

Actually they were. When reviews happen, more times than not they use multiple angles/replays timed up with each other to make confirmations or overturned rulings. When you combined the wide angle (horizontal) of his knee going down and combine it with the angle from the endzone that shows his knee down and ball tucked at his waist, it’s definitive he was short of the line. There’s a reason they have 3 screens at the review booth in every SEC stadium…… this isn’t rocket science. Literally every review is getting synced with multiple angles…. But obviously saying the league screwed us on a 4th and forever is the more popular opinion tonight.

This game changed when we completely squandered away a potential momentum changing possession, after the interception.
I don’t like the trend I saw in the 2nd half of the Carolina game and at crucial times in this game.
On another note, does anyone know what happened to Cade and Cooper? Cooper looked pretty chipper on the sidelines.
GBO!!

Don’t get yourself in 4th and 27. It’s on us!
Yep. People complaining about play calling all night but the QB’s decision to hold and not throw the ball is a bigger issue for me.
Holding it on 2nd and 3rd to get to 4th and 27 and
Not throwing into the end zone when you snap it with 3 seconds left is dumb

True. We should have won this football game. I am afraid that Hooker may be seriously injured and if so, we will be in a heap of trout at the QB position. I would like to red shirt HB but I don't think we can afford to play Milton unless every other QB can not walk on the field. We now have a shortage of SEC players at QB, OL, and RB. Hopefully we can beat South Alabama and Vandy. Vandy almost and should have beaten USC today. A lot of tings did not go well tonight and we face Alabama next Saturday. The open date before Kentucky is much needed.

NOT EVERY TIME; THEY DO NOT BRING AS MANY CAMERAS TO SOME GAMES AS THEY DO OTHERS, EVERY GAME DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME NUMBER OF CAMERAS

Was at the game and that was by far the best atmosphere in Neyland in a long long time. We had every chance to win the game and spotted them 7 points early. Wish the trash throwing on the field didn’t occur but the refs were horrid tonight. Still doesn’t excuse for that behavior. Anyway they’re headed in the right direction

That is one reason why they cleaned house last year. I will give the new Administration, AD, and Coaching Staff a chance to change the climate which I believe that can and will.

I guess Chancellor Plowman will self impose some sort of sanctions after tonight’s fiasco. No fans will be allowed in the stadium for homecoming.
GBO!!
