The Official Tennessee vs. #13 Ole Miss Game Thread, 7:30 PM ET, SEC Network

Sure. But the spot was somewhat accurate. He had the ball tucked while reaching out his other arm for the first down. Unpopular opinion but the when you use multiple angles, it was more likely he was short of the line than on it/ over it
NO you let them play it

let milton get killed then...we dont have the line for bailey...yet
We don't have the line for any of them...Lane and Davis will absolutely get it handed to them...I would not play Cooper since we have an open date and he probably needs more time for his ankle...

If this game showed us anything, it's that this team has guts. The guys to play through adversity...from the first time we touched the ball and dropped into their hands to the many, many 3rd down conversions to the lengthy delay due to the passion of the fans to the field leader going down in the final plays...these men fought through it all.

I'm not claiming "moral victory" but I am saying we are going to surprise some with the way this season ends.
We're not surprising anyone with Hooker likely out a while.

At the end of the day the call was going to stand whichever way it was originally called. The ref in better position spotted a first down. The ref that didn't came in and over ruled him.

On top of that, the refs took 7 points from us in the 1st quarter, saw that Ole Miss was faking injuries to stall us, and couldn't even give us a make up call. It's BS!

I actually think if ruled a first down, it likely doesn’t stand. They are able to run multiple angles on split screen. The horizontal replay timed with the angle from endzone shows he was short when his knee was down.

I just don’t see how it can definitely be a first down when replays have more proof for being short. There’s more video proof of being short than having the line to gain. At end of the day, he shoulda reached the ball out instead of tucking it

If Hookers injury is serious which it likely is then tell me how we win more than Vandy and USA with Milton at QB

Sadly, what will be remembered about this game will be stupid, classless fans, not players who gave their all for Tennessee. This team is better than anyone imagined it would be. Yes, there were lots of mistakes and questionable decisions by the staff and Milton at the end, but when fans lengthen a game by 20 minutes, they overshadow whatever progress is being made on the field.

Tim Banks held the #1 offense in the SEC to almost 10 points less than their norm.

This....and we gave up 3 sacks on 3rd down and punted 4 times in the 1st half as well....our defense was on the field the entire game. They played ABOVE their cumulative talent level aggain this week.

Dont forget the defense also had 2 stops before we ever had the ball in the 1st quarter...scored a TD the refs stole from us (5 points) which we soon got a safety as well. Those 5 stolen points were the difference in the game
