Trade the #1 pick to the org that is willing to give up the most. Then rebuild with the draft.

Make sure the next guy has been a HC who can develop and bring a real OC.

I dunno. At least that team had a functioning/functional offensive line. It might be the 2025 team is worse in both aspects.

The problem goes way deeper than that, unfortunately. I am not sure he gets fired after this year, but that would not be a surprise. Problem is, who they gonna get? Gruden? Blah. Coach Prime? Not. Hotshot coordinator? Why risk your future by taking the job?

They will need a veteran HC who can bring some stability and hire coordinators who are up and comers and aren't afraid to take their shot. A coordinator isn't really risking his career by taking the job on a crappy team, the HC gets most of the blame.

I guess Bill will be gone from NC after this year...

I really don't know who they would get. All I know for sure is the current leadership is not viable.

Callahan is 3-18. He has a worse winning percentage than Urban Meyer did in Jacksonville. The best time to fire him was this past offseason, the second best time was Monday and the third best time is right now. There's no chance he gets another season or everyone in the org should be gone
