10 really isn't that many. He doesn't force fumbles. He's a good player, not a great player.
When was he accused of rape?
Was this the whole "dated a 17 year old" thing from a while back?
Because New York's age of consent is 17.
In fact, it's 16 for most states in this country.
USC quarterback Mark Sanchez, who was battling to become the Trojans' starter, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of sexual assault.
Music City Miracle.
On June 15, 2014, Hardy was convicted of assaulting his partner Nicole Holder.[14] According to Holder, On May 13, 2014, Greg Hardy attacked me in his apartment. Hardy picked me up and threw me into the tile tub area in his bathroom. I have bruises from head to toe, including my head, neck, back, shoulders arms, legs, elbow and feet. Hardy pulled me from the tub by my hair, screaming at me that he was going to kill me, break my arms and other threats that I completely believe. He drug me across the bathroom and out into the bedroom. Hardy choked me with both hands around my throat while I was lying on the floor. Hardy picked me up over his head and threw me onto a couch covered in assault rifles and/or shotguns. I landed on those weapons. Hardy bragged that all of those assault rifles were loaded. Landing on those weapons bruised [my] neck and back. Hardy screamed for his administrative assistant (Sammy Curtis) to come into the room and hold me down. Curtis came into the room, grabbed me from behind and held me down. Hardy and Curtis then took me into the living room area. I wasnt nearly strong or fast enough to escape. I begged them to let me go & I wouldnt tell anyone what he did. They took me out into the hall, pushed me down & went back inside his apartment. I crawled to the elevator and ran into CMPD (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department)
One yard shy.
Music City Miracle was awesome so I'll always love Dyson for that. Moss may not have put his hands behind his body to catch the ball and it may have been ruled a forward pass. With that being said, I believe in Randy Moss to run down a sideline no differently than Dyson had we had Moss instead of Dyson. Though, we may never have been in that situation to begin with if we had Moss instead of Dyson. Moss can put up double Dyson's stats like it's nothing. Who needs a 70 yard kick return when you can just throw it 70 yards to Moss earlier in the game?![]()
Argue all you want about Hardy, but someone convicted of the crime he committed is no person you want representing your organization. Don't care about the stats or ability.
Verdict: Guilty. Not just accused of a crime. Found guilty.
I wasn't saying we should sign him, just that saying Orakpo is roughly equivalent on the field is definitely not true. But to be fair, that verdict was appealed and the charges dropped. (Of course, the circumstances surrounding that development are pretty sketchy too.)
How is it not true? Look at their numbers:
Hardy: 40 sacks in 63 games
Orakpo: 40 sacks in 71 games
One thing to note is that you should probably look at starts instead of games, or you're penalizing Hardy for not being an immediate starter as a rookie sixth-round pick. He has 27 sacks in 40 starts. More recently, the disparity is even bigger, as you can see in my post from 7:37 (depending on your time zone).
