If we're going to run the wildcat with JJ, then we absolutely have to let him pass it early in the game in order to get the defense off-balance when we run the wildcat. When all we do is run it when lining up in wildcat, and then only continue to run the ball when lining up in the WC later in the game, it's not going to be very successful. The opportunity for passing the ball out of the WC should be there now.
