A deputy behind him and a doctor in oncoming traffic gave him immediate attention, applying a tourniquet to stop two severed artery bleeds and save his life. He wrecked 5 minutes from a helipad, so I imagine he was in surgery in Knoxville less than 90 minutes from time of his wreck.

For those who pray, we covet those prayers for my Jacob, his brothers and me and his mother.

Small brain bleed that we need to stay small and low in pressure. That there be no dangerous infection from surgeries to save his legs. That he would breathe and swallow on his own.
