The Official Selection Sunday Thread

Man, Butler holds onto the ball better than almost any team out there. That's the worst thing possible for us to go against. Plus they shoot FTs well and take smart shots. I hope South Alabama wins. They turn the ball over a heck of a lot, never force any TOs, and rarely shoot the 3.

Louisville shoots horrible FTs and 3s, so while their D is great I just don't see them being able to get out to any kind of lead on us if we can get there.

American is practically a clone of Long Beach state from last year, except somehow worse.

I think Chris and JaJuan are going to go crazy and we will make a long run :good!:

We need for Chism to play like he did in the first half on friday and for Jordan and Ramar to just be steady... we don't need them scoring, just pass to ball to Tyler, Lofton, and JaJuan. We can't ask them to do anymore than that.

<p>
We're not. We were the top 2 seed and I think everyone would agree with that. They let us play closest to our home for the first 2 weekends. In the end, the money matters too.

I believe that backets match top to bottom, generally. But, adjustments are made for purposes of avoiding conference matches early.

Lord, if we're depending on the refs, we might as well pack it in right now.

I know, but looking at the other conference refs and the amount of fouls called compared to the SEC, it lends to a faster flowing game.

I disagree. I think Butler will be more than a match for S. Alabama, and will be an interesting game for Tennessee. But I know no more than you so we will see. I just think Butler is a solid team.
I think Butler is good also. That would be a tough game for us. Ball control, tough D. But playing basically a road game will be tough for Butler...and us.

I bet the tarholes over on Inside Carolina are going nuts about having to play Indiana/Arky second round.

I forgot about the PITT game. As well as Clemson's win at Cameron.

As for looking "hard," I believe I stated at least twice, that it was a very brief glimpse.

Clemson's win against Duke was not at Cameron. It was yesterday in the ACC tournament. Did you even watch basketball this weekend?

If Indiana plays the way they are capable they can pull the upset on UNC!! Heck Virginia Tech about did it yesterday
