Barnes owns that record now and will never lose it. He has done a lot of really good things here but his reputation of not being able to win the big one is a reputation he earned himself. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say since that record was set 40 years ago prior to the 3 point line being regularly used in basketball that yes we are stuck with it.

Yay us.

Use it as a chip on ur shoulder and move on. Only way to honestky correct is now break the single game scoring record and book end the records and use it as a sorta bragging feature like we own both.

How I would look at it as a coach to motivate.

I’m gonna stick with the opinion that we stuck. The record is 1 and 2 seeds. Not 16 seeds. The 1 and 2 part is the kicker that makes the record damn near infinite.
