Hands down best advice I can give is to look up @mattswider on Twitter. Follow him and turn on notifications for when he posts. He seems to get the earliest intel on when restocks are coming. I’ve bought 2 PS5s (one was for my nephew) based on his restock updates.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits comes out tomorrow via digital download (physical version comes out in November). I'm really looking forward to this, as it looks like it has a certain Zelda like quality to it! Plus the game is at a discounted price of 39.99.



If you're into photo mode in games, Kena's looks pretty clever.

Did anyone pick up Lost Judgement? I don’t like the turn style combat of the last Yakuza game but I love the series otherwise. I want to get this game but only if that FFVII turn based combat BS is gone

If the past is anything to go by, once RGG add something they keep it until something replaces it. That being said I haven't seen gameplay. I'm not a fan of the turn based stuff, either. Yakuza is at it's best when I can turn it on, go find some thugs, and pummel the bejesus out of them.

Agreed. I know some purists swear by turn-based combat but IMO it's an outdated mechanic from a bygone era that only came about because of the technical limitations of the hardware at the time. I would never favor turn-based combat over real time combat in 2021 unless I was playing Gwent in The Witcher 3 or Omar Sharif's Chess.

I bought it eventually lol. It ended up being the best story I’ve played in a decade. 100% worth it.

Having a blast with Deathloop ATM. Also picked up Yakuza Like A Dragon, I'm actually excited about the turned based combat. I thought combat was the weakest part of the Yakuza games lol

It’s incredible. Just know that the bullying problem in Japan isn’t the same as the US. Here it’s largely overblown.. but there, it’s brutal. If you step out of line of “normal” in any way then you’re ostracized. That’s why the game plays the way it does

Good to know. I'm pretty early on, been setting up cameras in some high school to catch bullies... Something tells me they're no match for Yagami.

She grows on you. Especially if you start doing the school stories expansion stuff. Which I highly recommend. It unlocks so many side activities. Boxing and the casino being my favorites.

Dancing, robotics, photography, Motorcycle racing, etc are okay but boxing and the casino have gotten hours of my time

Some of the funnier wacky moments from Yakuza/Judgment games I’ve been obsessively 100%ing since I got Lost Judgment a few months ago. They’re truly some of the best games ever made.

Went to GameStop today, no PS5 obviously. Plenty of PS5 controllers. Funny enough, I needed a PS4 controller and there is a shortage due to supply chain, they didn’t have any.

. Have you checked the recent prices of them? they are outrageous expensive along with the PS4. I got a ps4 pro and and a series x. I will try to get a PS5 next year probaly hopefully by then they will be easier to find.

Yeah, I have a PS4 pro currently. Had a scuf controller and it gave out last year. Then the original controller I had started messing up my mic last week. The headset works on PC just fine.
I periodically check on the PS5 but I’m willing to wait it out till supply is more common.

Must be tough when your friend becomes a sugar baby to pay for your schooling after your poor leadership led to a debacle with the school festival

Took a little grinding to win the robotics tournament, but now Yagami is “feeling good!”

Sending my day one PS5 back to Sony for a replacement (finally). :confused: It's been a not-very-good unit since I bought it, so I've stuck to PC. But it looks like 2022 is going to be a great year for Playstation so I couldn't put it off any longer.
