The Official Pittsburgh Steelers Thread

Last night, Villanueva chose to put a different name on the back of his helmet. How big of a fine does he get for this from the NFL?

Alwyn Cash ultimately died from burns sustained while pulling 6 other soldiers from a burning Bradley that had struck an IED in Iraq in 2005. He was awarded a Silver Star posthumously and there has a been a large campaign to upgrade that to a Medal of Honor.

Good for him

Only one Steelers player covered up the name of a police shooting victim on his helmet

With the win Sunday, Baker Mayfield is now the winningest QB in the history of Cleveland's FirstEnergy stadium with 12 victories. Ben Roethlisberger had been the previous record holder with his 11 wins as a starter since the stadium opened in 1999 and he entered the league in 2004.

It took 20+ years and 163 games for one Cleveland QB to win 12 games in their home stadium.

I saw this on Twitter. Thought it was a joke. They benched him for Keenum just because he was playing poorly? He's not injured?
He came into the game with sore ribs and right before half got lit up and took sometime getting back up. But he played the opening series in the 3rd and didn't show any obvious signs of injury.

He played horribly but then so did the rest of the Browns. Myles "piece of garbage" Garrett was also a total non-factor with no sacks or pressures and 3 tackles.

OBJ threw his helmet in a sideline tantrum then yanked his shoes off and spent most of the 4th quarter walking the bench in his socks
