I agree with Dale Jones, but how big a name is he outside of us? Marion Hobby would be good too maybe, But I beleive cohesion and everybody being on the same page trumps School affiliation at this point. Remember who is on staff now is not necessarily who will be on staff next year. He will more opportunities to hire asst coaches than just right now.

I just want a defense that swarms, hits hard as hell, and can line up in the right formation with the number of players allowed by the rules.

Personally, I liked the 4-4-5 base defense against LSU. Would have worked perfect if not for those bastage refs.

I don't think Peterman is as much "dual threat" as he is a play extender in the mold of Steve Young. I will be excited to see what he can do though. I would feel bad for Worley, though. I always thought he was going to be a good one after Bray left. Now it seems like he is going to be at a disadvantage in a QB battle with this offense.

I don't know some of his runs in HS looked Tebowish. There is more than one way to make the read-option work, but for the most part I agree with your assesment.

I honestly believe that had we had a somewhat competent DC this year we win 8-9 games despite Dooley. The caveat would be that we would still have Dooley probably. It was obvious that players did not love him, and was in way over his head.
