Who the heck did you think he was going to hire man...The UT admin ain't going to break the bank to lure anybody here. Which is what they would have to do, to get people to leave a good situation elsewhere. His defensive coaches sure seem to have been doing a good job to me any way.

He did say it would have a Tennessee feel to it. Where is one guy that has a "Tennessee feel"?

He doesn't fit Butches style anyway....Peterman does however. I hope he can get Woulward here, that would be a couple of good young dual threat QBs on board.

The Cinci defense was ranked very high in scoring D. I think they could make some stuff happen if we get top flight talent.

Besides Tee, what other really high profile UT coaches are out there? Nobody from UT has really distinguished theirself in coaching yet. His coaches he has been working with have been doing pretty good. Lets see what they can do with some better talent.

I don't think Peterman is as much "dual threat" as he is a play extender in the mold of Steve Young. I will be excited to see what he can do though. I would feel bad for Worley, though. I always thought he was going to be a good one after Bray left. Now it seems like he is going to be at a disadvantage in a QB battle with this offense.

Not sure if his DC will be DC or just coach LBs here. With a minimum pool of 3 mil, he needs to not phone this hire in.

I'd love for Dale Jones to be on the staff in some capacity. ........Why the hell are we talking about Vol football in this thread?

I agree with Dale Jones, but how big a name is he outside of us? Marion Hobby would be good too maybe, But I beleive cohesion and everybody being on the same page trumps School affiliation at this point. Remember who is on staff now is not necessarily who will be on staff next year. He will more opportunities to hire asst coaches than just right now.
