The Official New York Knicks Thread.

Remember last year when people thought Melo was going to resurrect the franchise?

I've never been huge on Melo. I've always thought he makes teams a liability regardless of his stats and that he's closer to Bosh than Lebron.

They've gone like 2-8 since Melo got back. Tough schedule, but they should've won more than that. I don't think Melo fits into D'antoni's system. He is the perfect talent, but his style of play doesn't fit. Shawn Marion was phenomenal with D'antoni cause he rebounded well, could run the floor, and hit 3's. Melo can do all that, but he doesn't want to wait on the perimeter for a good look (and let's be clear, he's a much better shooter than Marion). Melo wants to create his own shots.

Melo went "T.O." on NYK. Don't kid yourselves.

I used to like him, but he's clearly developed into a diva.

Phil Jackson has expressed interest in the Knicks job, but only after this season has concluded. Having some surgery now, wants to be healed and undistracted.

Hard to believe they're only 3 games out of 4th place. They've played poorly just about all season but two winning streaks have put them right back in it.

fosho, Miami or Chicago will take the East. At this point, its all about seeding in the playoffs for the Knicks. Would like to get a seed that would prevent us from playing either Miami or Chicago so that we would be able to get to the second round. Getting to the second round would be progress. With that said, I really like the job that Woodson is doing a great job.

I'm not so sure its really Woodson. I think its the absence of S'ucktoni. We may be stuck with Woodson though, he's tight with Isiah Thomas, and he's still tight with Dolan.

Whatever it is, it seems to be working. Did you watch the game last night? The touch pass in the paint from Melo to Amare in the 4th was just about the greatest pass I have ever seen Melo make.
