I'm in disbelief that Austin is still with us. He had Angels on his shoulders.

They are, but my DirecTV box won't let me record more than 3 hours past the scheduled end of the broadcast, so I woke up this morning to find I still only had the first half of the race recorded.

Mine goes 90 minutes past. Luckily I was up and recorded everything on NBC until 3am.

I have to say I am surprised at how well JB and SL are doing. I actually enjoyed watching the race and didn't want to mute the tv while watching.

They do a wonderful job with all 3 series as far as the telecast goes. They've got the best TV talent in racing. Though Leigh Diffey annoys me.

I did clap for him at the race, as I appreciated his efforts on taking the win.

Hammond should be happy people give a damn either way.

People recognize that he's a talented driver, he shouldn't assume fans will stop disliking / clowning him for whatever reason just because of his accident and return to form.
