The Official NASCAR Talk Thread

Not technically. Tonight will only last for another 1.74 hours.

They're getting this in before sunrise. How about that? :)

@EddieDHondt: Air Titan peeps have told the NASCAR tower it's going to take them until "12 or 12:30 to get the track dry."

So this means that the race will be starting in the early morning.

Not sure if this is better than running it tomorrow afternoon.

Good call nbc. Jackasses. Also the sound is bad. Get better microphones.

Should never have moved the race from Saturday now I have to decide if I want to stay up late and watch or get some sleep for work tomorrow.

The 88 is strong, even in traffic it seems like he can go where he pleases

It's a miracle for Austin Dillon. He went driver side into the fence too.

@JimmieJohnson: "I'm shocked that Austin Dillon's even alive after all he went through. I expected the worse."

That crash was absolutely terrifying. I expected the worst. Austin definitely had the Lord with him. So thankful that the fans weren't seriously injured.
That's by far the sickest feeling I've had since Dale passed in turn 4.

The Nationwide wreck back in 2013 when Larson went into the fence was pretty bad as well.

That was one of the worst wrecks I've ever seen. Thank the Lord nobody was hurt.
