What's your favorite secondary sponsor paint scheme? Mine would be Pepsi 400 at Daytona in 2002

White and blue axalta livery.

Rough weekend for Danica so far, even by her standards. Engine change, destroyed her primary car in final practice and then wound up DFL in qualifying.

Ironic that tantrum tony runs over somebody who probably grew up watching Tony throw similar tantrums that put folks in danger. The "Tony being Tony" "Have at it, boys" **** finally comes home to roost.

...can't argue with a single letter.

What I don't like is that a stupid young driver, wearing all black, getting out of a black car, at night on a dirt track is potentially going to cost one of NASCAR's stars to end his career prematurely. Racing organizations across the country need to implement a rule now you can't get out of the car to show how bad-ass to another driver. I'm honestly surprised this sort of incident hasn't happened in NASCAR yet to be honest.

I doubt highly that Tony Stewart would give up racing over this.

I'm saying the court of public opinion may force his sponsors to leave and having this on your record, even if no criminal charges are filed, will make new potential sponsors weary of signing on. In a round about way it could end his career.

In this case, since he owns his team, it may potentially end his full schedule career. That's if he can't fund his own cars. If not, you would definitely see him racing the big races such as the Daytona 500.

I don't follow the sport, but I was interested to see fans opinions on this.

On the one hand, standing in a space designated for fast-moving automobiles significantly increases one's likelihood of death or serious bodily injury.

On the other hand, it's an amazing coincidence that the guy he was trying to bless out happened to be the one to hit him.

Looks like everybody pretty much agrees it was an unfortunate accident as a result of a boneheaded move?

It's just an awful accident all around and I feel for everyone. Kevin Ward had a right to be pissed at Tony for wrecking him a lap earlier and could have confronted Tony after the race was over but he was 20 and was angry. If you haven't seen the video he walks into the middle of track, he lets the other cars go and gets even closer to Tony's car when he got clipped. Another thing driving sprint cars on dirt doesn't handle like you typical car. You gas them into the corner and the let read hang out, and you use the gas to steer the vehicle more than the steering wheel to be honest.

I don't think Tony will be charged but I think this permanently puts a black spot on Tony's career that could cause his sponsors to leave.
