The Official It Was A Good Call Thread

Yes, after it was inbounded to him. Seemed like you were saying you wanted the ball inbounded to Richardson or McRae. Michigan was working to deny them both. Going through Stokes first to draw the initial double was the right call. Seemed to me (especially in the yahoo gif) that he was turning to pass to a cutting McRae as the whistle was blown. Just got a bad break.

I didn't care if it was inbounded to them or not. I wanted one of those two to take the last shot. If they missed, let Maymon and Stokes clean it up.

I want to see a video of the play in the first half where stokes got ran over and no call.

I thought we also had a lot of contact layups by mcrae and j-rich that could've been and-1's but weren't called with lots of contact.

He's the best player, but I would've won or lost it with the ball in Richardson or McRae's hands. They both were on in that game. Stokes isn't the best ball handler especially that far away from the basket. I'd rather the other two guys handle it that far out.

The closer to the basket the better. I can see an argument for a different call but this whole "Cuonzo is an idiot for that call!!!!!" (Not you) from a biased minority is freaking stupid.

Also, two things:

Jordy almost always settles for a jumper in that spot. He doesn't get in the paint.

Josh doesn't have the surest hands and is probed to getting the ball taken from him.

If Stokes would've been closer, I wouldn't have had a problem with it. I just didn't like him trying to drive it from that far out. Oh well, they fought their asses off. That's all you can ask. Just wish we could've gotten a shot off instead of a ref deciding it.

Completely fair.

And hopefully never comes back.

No, just got tired of arguing with fellow UT fans. All fans of the same team with a different opinion. Don't see the purpose in name calling and derogatory remarks for someone who sees it differently. Kind of childish and rude if you ask me.

Did you really expect anything different from a post the plumbed the depths of utter stupidity, right after a tough loss. You got the reaction you wanted, it was a solid troll, don't act butt hurt now.

What exactly did you expect, making a thread like this?

Simply starting a thread with what was my opinion. As, I said previously, what is the point in coming in here and calling anyone stupid, or a moron, or anything of the other because they simply see something a different way. We are all supposed to be fans of the same team, yet many individuals on here can't act like mature adults when someone disagrees with them.

I find this act strange. You post something you know people are going to hate, because U.T. just got beat on at best a 50/50 call. Then you start crying because people are mean. I just don't get it, is this sort of strange disorder, or are you really just unfamiliar with how people react?

Exactly, this bullcrap "I just have a different opinion" stuff is laughable.

I started a thread with a different opinion than yours. Obviously not the popular opinion, but it was mine. No trolling intended, yet so many "adults" come on here and immediately break out the insults. I think that is laughable. If you disagree then you disagree, that is fine. I'm not on here saying that everyone I disagree with is a moron or stupid. I simply argue my point, and move on. You can continue to validate your immature name calling all you want by assuming that it was a troll. Be my guest, but the fact is I was simply presenting my opinion.

It's not like only a few disagree with you; very few agree with you, and the ones who do are pretty well established trolls on here. So it's not really surprising why you're treated as such.

Didn't realize I was crying about anything, thank you for the heads up.

You're either incredibly naive, or you're clearly trolling. There's really no in between here.

You start a thread with an opinion, that is terribly wrong I might add. When people tell you this, you ridicule them for not bringing facts to the table. Then when they bring facts to the table and call you out on your crap, you play the "you're all immature and big meanies" card. Cut the pretentious bs... You wanted to stir the pot and got exactly what you deserved.

I could cares less on who agrees or disagrees. I wanted to see if anyone agreed or disagreed with how I saw the last game. A similar thread was started as to why it was a bad call just before, which I modeled this one after. I actually think that some of the points that were brought up late in the thread by BTO and others about the new rule change make sense. What doesn't is the immediate hate for someone with a different view on a call.

I would have like to seen Stokes get it closer to the elbow. But I have no issues with it going to him by itself.
My other thought was Richardson off a Maymon ball screen with Stokes somewhere near the basket and Maymon rolling in behind the shot.

Please, present one quote where I ridiculed one individual about their opinion. I simply asked those who only brought insults to the table to present facts, gifs, or any other means or argument as to why my opinion is wrong. I'll hang up and listen...

Go back and read. If you don't see it then I'm sorry..... I can't help you.
