The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Congrats on the season.

I somewhat question him coming back versus just taking the whole year off (for health reasons)...but with the nature of this business (and what some people do to move up or down in it or how others decide on changes) I kind of understand coming back as soon as he's able as well

On paper, Ravens should win handily. Veteran team with playoff experience playing at home. Colts need to play turnover free football and try and force Flacco to win the game.

Tough game yesterday but a very satisfying season overall. Some interesting questions:

1. If Arians moves on, who should the Colts hire as OC? I am NOT a Clyde Christensen fan and would prefer getting someone like Norv Turner.

2. What position(s) should we target for Draft and what positions for FA? I would vote for FA offensive line and draft for secondary, WR help.

Too many dropped passes and Luck got the heck beat out of him again. Clyde called a great game yesterday but I agree I would rather have Turner or someone else.

Need O line help and a linebacker that is a true rush LB and Freeney will be gone so we have to fill that spot. Safety help also. CB depends on if Powers can come back and WR depends on if they try to bring Collie back.

Yes, the second half drops were particularly damaging; had to keep reminding myself that was the reason Avery was available to begin with - he has the speed but not the hands. I doubt that the Colts keep Collie next year so they really need another WR. Hilton had a good rookie year and of course Wayne was unbelievable.

OL is the glaring weakness but I would surpised if they use their #! pick on this - just too much risk in not panning out. Much better to go FA route in my opinion.

Although he deserves a shot at HC, something tells me that BA isn't leaving. I'm not sure what the health issue was yesterday (and hopefully it isn't serious) but I think his age and personality probably work against him.

I hope they use the first pick on a rush LB. I just read they will have 47.5 million in cap space this off season. That can fix a lot of issues quickly.

I agree on Arians, I think he is back. I love his offense, his play calling sometimes is questionable.

Arians took the Arizona job. I loved his offense, hated his play calling. He did a great job holding this team together during Pagano's absence. The list so far they are trying to interview is: Hue Jackson, Tom Moore and Stanford's O.C.

I guess BA decided that at his age, this might be his last/only shot at a head coachinig job in the NFL. Arizona will suck for a while given their lack of a QB and the fact they are in the NFC West. But I wish him well.

I thought Moore was fine when he was here before. Of those 3 candidates, I like him the best but I don't know much about Jackson or the Stanford OC.

How do Colts fans feel about that? As a Peyton fan, i guess im a former Colts fan? But i was sad to hear that.

Great career with the Colts. He can still play in the league if he is willing to take substantial cut in pay.

I will always wonder what would have happened in the 07 Super Bowl if he had been healthy. Terrible decision by Colts coaches to keep playing him late in AFC Championship when the game was won.

I was just gonna say how Thomas would be a good 2nd pick up.

We need to go DL and OL first two picks imo.

I tend to agree but that depends on what they decide to do in free agency. We don't have a 2nd round pick this year, they traded it for V Davis
