The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

No, but if I were to guess, they add a veteran RB who can protect Luck by being an effective rush blocker and can catch out of the backfield (i.e. a younger, cheaper Addai clone).

Think you mean pass blocker there chief. It takes a very talented RB to run block for himself. AP is about the only one I can think of.

With Reggie Wayne signing, if they keep Tammie, that would give us Wayne, Collie, Tammie as the primary receivers. Add one more veteran and that doesn't seem like a desperate situation anymore.

Do you think the Colts will add another veteran RB or draft one?

So, are you saying that if you can bring back some of the folks from the 2 win season, you could repeat?

When Wayne signed his contract he said "Colt for life, I am going to get that tattoo put on my back" Great to see that at least him and Mathis are loyal.

We have our replacement for Jeff Saturday I guess, they signed Samson Satele today. I don't know anything about this guy.

Winnable games are Vikings, Jags x2, Titans x2, Browns, Dolphins, Bills, Chiefs and maybe the last game of the year against Texans (I am assuming they have already won the division). Now, no way they actually will win all those but I can see maybe 6-10 this year.

I hate having the bye so early in the season.

6-10 sounds reasonable - anything better than that would be a big surprise to me. Any thoughts on how the Colts use their 2nd round pick? I saw one projection with them taking the LSU receiver (Reuben Ray?). I don't know him at all.

At some point they have to get a CB and a NT, Rueben Randle is his name, I like him but I would rather have Mohamed Sanu WR from Rutgers. If Coby Fleener is there, TE from Stanford I would take him first but Sanu would be my next choice.

Ryan Grigson held a press conf today and he said they have decided on who they are going to draft but said we have to wait until April 26 to find out.

Adam Schefter is reporting the Colts have informed Luck they are going to draft him.

They might as well be announcing/reporting it, Irsay and Co have just lately been trying to milk more attention in an almost certain outcome

(/ trying to get it back after all focus shifted away from them and to the vikings and who's the 3rd pick)

Yea Irsay wanted to jerk everyone around a little on this, but no one with a half of a brain thought they would take anyone other than Luck.
