The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

Tough news. The Luck era is officially beginning. He better be the real deal to get rid of one of the best to ever play the position...

Tom Jackson reporting he saw Manning throw recently and he said he looked every bit like the Peyton Manning we know.

Do it Manning. Take a pay cut. Go to Houston. You're set up with great weapons and a good OL. You're set up with great defense. You're in the South. You play the Colts twice a year.

Obviously, I would love Peyton to come back to TN and don the Titans jersey.

But, realistically I hope he lands in KC. Assuming they are through with the Cassel experiment. The 49ers would be sweet, too.

If he comes to Miami I'd definitely go see him. I've even liked the Dolphis during the days of Dan Marino.

I just can't see Peyton moving to south beach with a family.. Especially when Miami sucks anyways, no one to throw to other than Brandon Marshall... Waste of talent..

Sad, back to pre-Manning years. Low win totals, cheap tickets, other team's fanbase taking over the stadium. May the Luck be with us but I wouldn't count on it. Stupid move by management.

Why is it a stupid move? He is 36 coming off 4 neck surgeries and the best potential prospect QB to come out of college in a while is sitting there.

Read in a couple of places that Deight Freeney could be released. Don't have a feeling if he will one way or the other, but it would be crazy to see the Colts without Manning and Freeney.

My guess is Peyton ends up in Arizona, can you imagine Peyton to Larry F?

They do have a history of picking up QBs at the end of their careers and going to SBs with them. I would love to see PM in the NFC. Then I could actually have two teams to root for.
