The Official Indianapolis Colts Thread

i love how colts fan cant take any criticism.. shows how spoiled you are.... sad thing is.. id put money the colts would still beat the titans if they played tomorrow.

I guarantee it. If I were Titans or Cowboys fans I would worry more about what is wrong with my team instead of why the Colts did not beat the best team in the division without or best player.

Colts fans, let me know what you think. I think Caldwell should be fired after this season. This guy is terrible, I am not sure he is even aware there is a game going on. Too many great coaches sitting out there right now to keep rolling with this guy.

Nope. Why fire him because the team looks bad without Peyton? In 2 seasons with Peyton he's like 24-6 and 2-2 in the playoffs.

I don't agree with it either. The team made a super bowl under him and reached the second round of the playoffs the year after.

I have to wonder, though, if it's all a bit like a Spurrier-Zook dynamic with the
fanbase: because the former coach (dungy) was that good, any seeming degree/ appearance of dropoff (at all) by the successor is going to be perceived as being "a horrible coach"

Sure hope so, but shouldn't you be worried about pissing away a 4th qtr, 14 point lead?

Ah, the old 'worry about your own team' defense, as if the people you're talking to are actually part of the teams you're trying to deflect criticism on.

I've dealt with Romo pissing away games for years, it doesn't mean I can't say Indy is an absolutely godawful team without Peyton under center, and it damn sure doesn't mean I can't make fun of them or their fans.

I don't really think Dungy was great either. He was good not great. Most fans just love him because he is such a great guy. I think Caldwell is terrible, but we will see if this teams wins less than 6 games this will show he is terrible. If they win 7 or more then I will say I am wrong about him

I always thought Dungy was pretty overrated. They won a Super Bowl but realistically I felt like they should have won more.

Not a predictor of the team's success, but Polian was at the Stanford-Duke game. Probably wasn't scouting the Duke QB.

Due diligence.

I imagine they'll be scouting quite a few QBs this year. Why not start with the best?
